Language, Speech & Audio AI

Mike's AI work is grounded in computational linguistics and NLP, with experience in language detection, machine translation, speech recognition, text-to-speech, multilingual data analysis, semantic processing, and large-scale language-data pipelines.

Recent projects include an AI audio-analysis pipeline using PyTorch, AssemblyAI, Faster-Whisper, and the OpenAI API; analysis of language distribution across one million web domains; and an offline-first AI language-learning application. Mike is also a published researcher in computational linguistics and NLP, combining academic language research with 25 years of software engineering experience to build practical intelligent systems.
